(More customer reviews)I have been extremely impressed with my Irwin Industrial Tools 2078110 10-Inch Groove Lock Pliers. Channel lock pliers have been an essential tool in my toolbox all my adult life. I find that these pliers provide a better working grip on the items I used it on than any other channel lock pliers I have ever used.
Some of the features I love about these pliers are as follows. First and foremost is the "Press-N-Slide button" for the "Multi-Groove Ratcheting System" which quickly adjusts the lower jaw to allow a 4" opening; this allows for accurate and non slip positioning by providing more groove positions than standard channel lock pliers. The pliers handles are long and very ergonomically pleasing to use due to the non slip rubberized covers on the handles. The pliers fit my hands well and provide me maximum control on the working surface.
Overall, I rate the Irwin Industrial Tools 2078110 10-Inch Groove Lock Pliers higher than any other I have ever used and I have used allot of them on my helicopters, cars, and around the house.
Well worth the nominal price of $7.00!!!
A caveat, be very careful how you use channel lock pliers!!! Never on a good nut, will you strip it and round off the corners. That warning given, these channel locks are a must have item in the tool box of any mechanic!!!
